Magnus Mazimpaka is the Editor of KT Press. A student of economics and political economy, Magnus has been a journalist for 11 years and worked for major media houses including The News Times, as a senior journalist and Head of the Investigative Desk, then later as the Country Director and Editor for Uganda’s Premier Magazine, The Independent, Rwanda Dispatch, Focus Newspaper and The East African.He has a unique and profound understanding of Rwanda’s political and social-economic landscape. Magnus is an award winning investigative journalist and regional business award writer. He is part-time consultant on communication and marketing and a research assistant with various renown local and international researchers. He is not married and social rugby player.
Mr. Patrick BIGABO is the Sub-Editor for KT Press. He writes on a broader number of topics, but particularly interested in Information Technology, Environmental Conservation, Politics and Economics. He extensively covered conflicts in DR Congo, Ethiopia, Darfur-Sudan, Northern Uganda, Burundi and Eritrea. Since 2000, he worked for various media organizations in the Great Lakes Region in different capacities. Mr. Bigabo graduated with honours from Uganda Christian University in 2003. He is widely traveled and has been a public speaker at Carleton College, US. Privately, Mr. Bigabo is an athlete and extensively engages in commercial farming and real estate development. He is a communications consultant. He is also a member of United Nations Association Rwanda.
Jean de la Croix Tabaro was born and brought up in southern Rwanda. In media, he started as a volunteer, once at University of Rwanda where he studied journalism. He embraced print media since 2007 with a human interest nose. A passionate reporter, he never steps back in front of editorial stress.
Lillian Gahima is a passionate writer, a graduate in Mass Communication, from Uganda Christian University, Mukono. Spending half her life in neighbouring Uganda. She began her career from her home country, Rwanda. Gahima`s writing cuts across all styles, including features, news and investigative stories. She has taken several trainings ranging from investigative and human rights reporting.
Mr. Dan Ngabonziza is a writer for KT Press. Since 2005, he has been working for print and electronic media. From 2005 to 2013, he worked with The New Times Publications-Rwanda’s daily English paper, before joining KT Press. He holds a degree in Business Economics with majors in Finance. He has since dedicated himself to journalism as his career.
